Enjoy the tranquillity of the Manor Park

The manor park covers an area of 12 ha and, together with the manor, is a national cultural monument. It is the first nature-sentimental park on the territory of today’s Slovakia, which was rebuilt in 1794 in the English park style by the Austrian agronomist and landscape architect Bernhard Petri. According to historical sources, several architectural objects were restored on its territory.

One well-preserved and restored attraction is the Grotta – an artificial cave with a waterfall that falls into a pond. The second, original attraction is the hermit’s chapel, which was built using modern technology, the first in Slovakia, 3D printing. The 12-meter-high memorial obelisk has not yet been restored. The Pagoda, a Chinese pavilion that was added to the park at a later date, will soon appear on the island of the lake. The romantic impression of the park is enhanced by centuries-old oaks and some species of rare trees. The boards of the nature trail will help you test your knowledge of some exotic trees.

The park is suitable for picnics, wedding ceremonies, team building, sports activities and competitions, whatever you want. Even if you just idly observe the fish in the pond or the diligent ants in the grass. You can also find a tree of peace by the footpath near the lake. Just touch its trunk, close your eyes and wish for something positive.
